Rangitane o Wairarapa kaumatua Mike Kawana this morning blessed the site, before Housing Minister Chris Bishop helped turn the sod on the first of Trust House Ltd’s many planned housing developments, on Matai Street Masterton.
Wairarapa-based community housing provider Trust House is planning on investing up to $130 million in redeveloping or rebuilding most of its housing portfolio over the next five to seven years, providing tenants a future in quality warm, dry, accessible and efficient homes built to modern standards.
Trust House is running a ‘Try July’ competition during the first half of July to link with Dry July.
