Porirua Advisory Committee Member Vacancy
Trust House Foundation is looking for a community minded person who would like to be involved in the distribution of funds by way of grants from Class 4 gaming to the Porirua/Tawa communities. Our committee members are informed and impartial in deciding how grant funding is distributed. The successful applicant would be part of the Porirua Advisory Committee along with 4 other members who meet every 8 weeks to recommend grant applications to the Trust House Foundation for review and approval or decline.
Note: The role is not as intensive as a part-time job. It requires someone who can commit to a meeting every 8 weeks which spans 1 hour and 30 Minutes with 3-4 hours preparation time, along with community engagement and representation at key events.
Qualities required

- Resides within the local community
- Respected
- Basic financial understanding
Whilst these are some of the qualities that we are looking for, we are also very conscious of the need to consider the overall diversity of the advisory committee.
