Aratoi Wairarapa Museum of Art and History

Aratoi Wairarapa Museum of Art and History is proud to be supported by Trust House Foundation.

The funding enables us to curate inspiring exhibitions, tell our stories and provide a safe place for our region’s taonga. Our exhibitions are the foundation for us to provide stimulating public programmes and free education sessions for the region.

Aratoi hosts around 30 exhibitions annually, ranging from community shows to nationally acclaimed touring exhibitions, showcasing Taonga Māori, social history and art by well-known and emerging artists.

These exhibitions are chosen to delight and inspire, but also to challenge, create conversations and be thought-provoking to our visitors. Our exhibitions further enable us to partner with members of our community to connect people of all ages through art and culture and provide high quality experiences of art, history, and culture to the Wairarapa.

Thank you, Trust House. We would not be able to serve our community without your ongoing support.
