The inaugural Kokomai Creative Festival, Wairarapa held in October 2013 was a great success and the Wairarapa Arts Festival Trustees are looking forward to bringing you the 4th edition of Kokomai in October 2019.
Trust House has been a partner from the start. They are still here beside us, working together to help Kokomai reach the far corners of the Wairarapa and bring an inspiring series of workshops and performances of music, visual arts, film, dance, theatre and culinary arts and literature for all.
Kokomai brings even more than enjoyment, it adds tangible social, cultural and economic benefits to our communities. Arts and culture provide powerful tools with which to engage people in various levels of change. They are a means to public discussion, contribute to the development of a community’s creative learning, create healthy communities capable of action and help build community capacity and leadership.
Thank you Trust House for helping us to deliver Kokomai.
