Bellyful volunteers prepare a variety of meals, in a monthly ‘Cookathon’, freeze them and then deliver them over the next few weeks to families who are referred by health professionals, community agencies, other charities plus family and friends. You can also refer yourself – this is how it works.”
Both Bellyful Hutt Valley and Bellyful Porirua branches, have generously been supported by Trust House.
Bellyful Hutt Valley covers a large geographical area from Birchville (in Upper Hutt); the entire Lower Hutt Valley and south to Petone and where possible Wainuiomata.
Bellyful Porirua covers south to Tawa; Porirua; north to Pauatahanui and includes Mana and Titahi Bay.
Thanks to the Trust House’s grant both branches have been able to continue raising their local profiles but contributing to the cost of the Bellyful national website presence.
Both branches are grateful to the Trust House who help empower charities such as Bellyful in a collaborative manner to support and enhance the lives of people in our communities.
